Wimbledon Championship Serena rules 2010


Serena Williams of show USA continued her dominance in the Wimbledon as she convincingly beat Vera Zvonareva of Russia in straight set by 6-3 and 6-2.

Serena Williams 28 year old on top of her game and she never allowed her opponent to settle. The score was 3-3 in the first set when Serena broke the service and took the first set in just 36 minutes. Russian 25 year old tennis player Vera Zvonareva was under pressure and she failed to repeat her performance of semi final in the big final today. Serena hit nine aces with three double faults and 15 unforced errors.

Serena took the second and final set by 6-2 in just 31 minutes. This was the 13th Grand Slam title of Serena Williams. The final of 2010 Wimbledon Championship was lasted for only 67 minutes. Vera Zvonareva hit four aces with two double faults and 11 unforced errors.

Serena Williams said, “It means a lot because it’s 13. It’s kind of cool because I was able to pass Billie. That’s always nice. I don’t know where it rates. To have four Wimbledons is actually, actually exciting”.

Schedule results for 7 days Wimbledon Championship 2010


WIMBLEDON CHAMPIONSHIP 2010, which is taking place at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London, entered on day 7 and the fourth round of game is scheduled to be played on different courts. In the Men's Singles at Wimbledon Championship 2010, top seed Roger Federer will play against Jurgen Melzer of Austria at the Centre Court. Rafael Nadal, the Spanish player is schedule to play against Paul-Henri Mathieu of France. Britain’s fourth seed Andy Murray will play against Sam Querrey of USA. Third seed Serbian Novak Djokovic is all set to play against Lleyton Hewitt of Australia. He is ranked 15 in Wimbledon 2010, whereas, Wimbledon seed no. 4 Andy Roddick of USA will clash with Yen-Hsun Lu in the fourth round tie. In the Women's Singles, fourth round game at Wimbledon 2010, top seed Serena Williams of USA will play against World no. 16 Russian Maria Sharapova. Belgium girls Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin will play for the last 16 in Wimbledon 2010. In the other Women's Singles match, Venus Williams of USA will play with Jarmila Groth, whereas, third seed Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki and Petra Kvitova of Cheze Republic match is also in the Day seventh roster of Wimbledon Championship 2010.In the earlier round 3 match at year's biggest Grass court Tennis championship in Wimbledon, Rafael Nadal defeated Germany’s Philipp Petzschner by 6-4, 4-6, 6-7, 6-2, and 6-3. Serena Williams defeated Dominika Cibulkova in a direct set by 6-0, 7-5. Serena Williams hit 20 aces against her opponent.
