Wimbledon Championship Serena rules 2010


Serena Williams of show USA continued her dominance in the Wimbledon as she convincingly beat Vera Zvonareva of Russia in straight set by 6-3 and 6-2.

Serena Williams 28 year old on top of her game and she never allowed her opponent to settle. The score was 3-3 in the first set when Serena broke the service and took the first set in just 36 minutes. Russian 25 year old tennis player Vera Zvonareva was under pressure and she failed to repeat her performance of semi final in the big final today. Serena hit nine aces with three double faults and 15 unforced errors.

Serena took the second and final set by 6-2 in just 31 minutes. This was the 13th Grand Slam title of Serena Williams. The final of 2010 Wimbledon Championship was lasted for only 67 minutes. Vera Zvonareva hit four aces with two double faults and 11 unforced errors.

Serena Williams said, “It means a lot because it’s 13. It’s kind of cool because I was able to pass Billie. That’s always nice. I don’t know where it rates. To have four Wimbledons is actually, actually exciting”.
